EPDP Delegation Meets with The Norwegian Labour Party in Oslo, Norway

           

A four man delegation of Eritrean Peoples’ Democratic Party (EPDP) led by the party’s Chairman Mr. Menghesteab Asmerom, visited the headquarters of the Labour Party in Oslo on 12 Oct 2015. The International Secretary of the Labour Party, Mr.Odd-Inge Kvalheim and his assistant welcomed the delegation in its visit.

The other members of the delegation were Mr. Medhanie Habtezghi, head of the EPDP Youth Office, Mr. Dawit Araya, chairman of EPDP Norway branch and Mr Osman Jaber, member of the EPDP Foreign Office.

In the opening of the meeting, Mr. Menghesteab stated his condolence for the massacre of about 70 innocent youngsters in Utøya, and he recalled all the positive role and tremendous contribution of the Norwegian Community to Eritreans during their struggle for independence. Extending his speech Mr Menghesteab gave a vast and detailed information about the current human rights and political situation in Eritrean. In his narration, he said that after 30 years of bloody war with Ethiopia the Eritrean people succeeded in achieving their long cherished goal of independence; but the people of Eritrea have not yet been liberated from oppression. Eritreans could not exercise even their fundamental human rights because of the repressive nature of the regime in power and its extreme dictatorship. In addition, the open ended national service and shortage of basic necessities like food, water, shelter, health and education services has led to despair and made life unbearable.

ብ18 መስከረም 2001 ስርዓት ኢሳያስ ብድሕር'ቲ ኣትኵሮ ዓለም ዝሰሓበ ኣሸበርቲ ኣብ ኣመሪካ ዝፈጸምዎ ናይ ኣልቓዒዳ ስርሒት ተኸዊሉ፡ 11 ላዕለዎት መራሕቲ ህግደፍን 10 ጋዜጠኛታትን ኣሲሩ። ምኽንያት መእሰሪ ናይ'ቶም 11 ላዕለዎት መራሕቲ ህግደፍ ኣኼባ ናይ "ባይቶ ኤርትራ" ክግበር ስለዝጠለቡ ክኸውን እንከሎ፣ ናይ'ቶም 10 ጋዜጠኛታት ከኣ፡ ንውግእ ኤርትራን ኢትዮጵያን ይኹን ንትግባረ ቅዋም ዝምልከት ቃለ-መሓትትን ሓተታታትን ኣብ'ተን ናጻ ተባሂሉ ዝተኣምነለን ጋዜጣታቶም ስለዘስፈሩን ዘቃልሑን ኢዩ ነይሩ።
እዞም እሱራት እዚኣቶም ከም'ቶም ቅድሚኦም እተኣስሩ ማእለያ ዘይብሎም ናይ ፖለቲካን ናይ ሕልናን እሱራት፥ ብዘይ ክስን ብዘይ ፍርድን ምስ ቤተሰቦም ይኹን ምስ ሰብኣውያን ማሕበራት ከይራኸቡ ተሓሪሞም ኣብ ማእሰርቲ ከምዝበልዩ ኰይኖም ኣለዉ።
ኣብ'ቲ ተኣሲሮምሉ ዝርከቡ ቤት ማእሰርቲ ዒራዒሮ ኣብ ሓለዋ ተመዚዙ ዝነበረ እሞ ካብ'ቲ ስርዓት ቅድሚ 4 ዓመታት ዘምለጠ ተጋዳላይ፥ መብዛሕትኦም እቶም እሱራት ከምዝሞቱ እቶም ዝተረፉ'ውን ብዝተፈላለዩ ዓይነት ሕማማት ይሳቐዩ ምህላዎም ኣዝዮም ውሑዳት ደሓን'ዮም ዝብሃሉ ድማ ከቢድ ሰንሰለት ኣብ ኣእጋሮም ተሰኪሞም ኣብ ሸላታት ተዳጕኖም ምህልዋምን ኣቃሊዑ ነይሩ።

ሓድነት ኣጽኒዕና ክንሕዞ ዝግበኣና ዓንዲማእከልና’ዩ

“ሓድነት ህዝብን መሬትን ኤርትራ ይተዓቀብ” ናይ ነዊሕ ግዜ ናይ ኩሎም ኤርትራውያን ረዚን ጭረሖ እዩ። ስለምታይ እዚ ጭረሖ’ዚ ክሳብ ክንድዚ ወሳኒ ቦታ ከም ዝሕዝ፡ በቲ ሓደ ወገን ንኹሉ ብሩህ እዩ ኢልና ስለ እንኣምን በቲ ካልእ ወገን ድማ ዝርዝሩ ኣዝዩ ሰፊሕ ስለ ዝኾነ ኣብ እምብዛ ዓሚቒ ዝርዝር ኣይክንኣቱን ኢና። ብሓጺሩ ግና ሓድነት ሃገር ብፍላይ ንዓና ኤርትራውያን፡ ኩሉ መግዛእታዊ ውዲታትን ተጻብኦታትን ፈንጢስና፡ ዘይከኣል ዝመስል ዝነበረ ክኢልና ነጻነትና ከነረጋግጽ ዘኽኣለና ምስጢር ዓወትና ስለ ዝኾነ ኣጽኒዕና ክንሕዞ ዝግበኣና ዋሕስ ህልውናናን ቀጻልነትናን እዩ። እዚ ኣባና ዝድረት ዘይኮነስ “ሓድነት ሓይሊ’ዩ” ብዝልብ ኣበሃህላ ኣድማሳዊ ክብደት ዘለዎ እዩ።

ሃገራዊ ሓድነት ኣንጻር ብዙሕነት ዘይኮነስ ናይቲ ዝሓቖፎ፡ ብሃይማኖት፡ ብቋንቋ፡ ብባህሊ፡ ቦታዊ ኣሰፋፍራ … ወዘተ ዝግለጽ ብዙሕነት መሰልን ናጽነት ከይገሃሰ ናይ ሓባር ዋልታን ድርዕን ኮይኑ ዝሓቁፍ ናይ ሓባር ዓንዲ እዩ። ተትእምኖ እምነት ትስዕብ’ሞ ኣብ ጉዳይ ሃገር ብሓባር ትዋሳእ። ኣብቲ ካልእ ናይ ብዙሕነት መግለጽታት እውን ከምኡ፡ ሓድነት ላዕለዋይ ቦታ ሒዙ እቲ መስርሕ ህልውናን ዕቤትን ይቕጽል። ሓድነት ኣብ ጽላሉ ናይ ዘሎ ብዙሕነት መሰላትን ነጻነታትን፡ እንዳገሃሰ ዝጸዓን ዘይኮነስ፡ መዓስን ኣየናይ ቅድሚት ይስራዕን እንዳ ኣነጸረ ኣብ ሕድሕድ እቲ ናይ ብዙሕነት መግለጽታት ዘሎ ምንባብ ከመይ ይስራዕን ዝቕይስ ፍትሓዊ ዓንዲ ማእከል እዩ።

ዕዉት ናይ ኣባላት ሰሚናር ብጨንፈር ኖርወይ

ጽባሕ መዓልቲ ሰማእታት ኤርትራ፣ 21 ሰኔ 2015 ሰልፊ ዲሞክራሲ ህዝቢ ኤርትራ ጨንፈር ኖርወይ ኣብ ከተማ ኦስሎ ዕዉት ናይ ኣባላቱ ሰሚናር ኣካይዱ። ናይቲ ሰሚናር ናይ ምሉእ መዓልቲ መዛረቢ ኣጀንዳታት ኤርትራዊት ጓል ኣንስተይትን አትርከበሉ ኩነታትን ዝብልን፣ ገድሊ ህዝቢ ኤርትራን ውጺኢቱን ዝብልን ነበረ። ኣባል ሰልፊ ዲሞክራሲ ህዝቢ ኤርትራ ዝኾነ መንእሰይ ኢሰያስ ሓጎስ አውን ጎድኒ ንጎድኒ ናይቲ ሰሚናር ንተሳተፊቲ ኣኼባ ንህሉውን ሕሉፍን ኩነታት ገድሊ ኤርትራን ውጺኢቱን ዝገልጽ ስአላዊ ምርኢት ኣርኢዩ።

ኣብቲ ናይ ሓደ ምሉእ መዓልቲ ሰሚናር ኣቦ መንበር ጨንፈር ብጻይ ዳዊት ኣርኣያ ነቲ ሰሚናር ብዝኽረ ሰማዕታት ድሕሪ ምኽፋት ንካብ ርሑቅን ቀረባን ተንቀሳቂሶም ተሳተፍቲ ናይቲ ሰሚናር ንዝኾኑ ኣባላት ሰልፊ ናይ አንቋዕ ብደሓን መጻኩም ምዉቅ ሰላምታ ኣቅሪቡ። ንሱ ሰልፊ ብዘይሕለል ተወፋይነት ነፍሲ ወከፍ ኣባሉ ንቅድሚት ይግስግስ ከምዘሎ ድሕሪ ምግላጽ፣ ነቶም ንምዕዋት 2ይ ጉባኤ ሰልፊ ዓቅሞም ዘይበቀቁ ብፍላይ ድማ ሓተቲ ዕቁባ ኮይኖም ኣብ ተጸባይነት አንዳነበሩ ካብ ዘይብሎም ዝርካቦም ዝለገሱ ኣባላት ብልቡ ሞጒሱ።

In one small East African country, the rule of law has been replaced by the rule of fear. That was the conclusion of a yearlong investigation by the United Nations Commission of Inquiry on Human Rights in Eritrea, which released its report this week. The report lays out in horrifying detail the mass surveillance, torture, enslavement and disappearances under Eritrea’s totalitarian regime since that country gained independence from Ethiopia in the early 1990s. The U.N. investigators said systemic human rights abuses in Eritrea are on a scale rarely seen anywhere else in the world and may constitute crimes against humanity.
The U.N. panel, which was established in June 2014, was not able to enter Eritrea, so investigators based their 484-page report on 550 interviews and 160 written statements from people who had fled the country.

UN report uncov­ers Rape and Sex­ual Slav­ery of young female con­scripts in Eritrea

The UN Com­mis­sion of inquiry on Eritrea (COI) received a large num­ber of tes­ti­monies and sub­mis­sions relat­ing to the rape and sex­ual abuse of young women con­scripts in mil­i­tary train­ing cen­tres. Despite the large num­ber of tes­ti­monies report­ing sex­ual vio­lence within mil­i­tary train­ing, the Com­mis­sion con­sid­ers that it may have only par­tially uncov­ered the full extent of the sex­ual vio­lence suf­fered by women and girls in mil­i­tary train­ing due to the cul­tural bar­ri­ers and chal­lenges asso­ci­ated with speak­ing about sex­ual vio­lence.

In light of these fac­tors, the Com­mis­sion is of the view that rape and other forms of sex­ual vio­lence are per­pe­trated with fre­quency against women in the mil­i­tary train­ing cen­tres. The preva­lence of such abuse in Sawa and Wi’a in par­tic­u­lar is extremely high, but it is also found in other mil­i­tary train­ing centres.

ሰልፊ ዲሞክራሲ ህዝቢ ኤርትራ (ሰዲህኤ)፡ ኣብ ዝካፈሎም ከም ናይ ኒያሚ፡ ላይፕዚግ፡ ስቶክሆልም፡ ቱኒስን ሮተርዳምን ዝኣመሰሉ መጋባእያታት ዘሕልፎም መልእኽትታት ብዛዕባ ነብሱ ዘይኰነስ፡ ብዛዕባ ኤርትራን ህዝባን ኢዩ ዝጣበቕ። ንኣብነት ምስ'ዚ ተታሓሒዙ ዘሎ ኣብ'ቲ ካብ 22-23 ግንቦት 2014 ኣብ ሮተርዳም፡ ሆላንድ እተጋብአ ዋዕላ ዝተዘርግሐ ኣብ ጥብቆ ዘሎ ጽሑፍ ተመልከት።
ኣብ ሮተርዳም ኣብ እተሰላሰለ ዋዕላ ገስጋሲ ምሕዝነት፡ ብኣባላት ልኡኽ ሰዲህኤ ዝተጻሕፉ ይኹኑ ዝተዘርግሑ መልእኽትታት፡ ብዛዕባ ጸገማት ህዝብና ጥራሕ ኢዩ ዝገልጹ። መራሕቲ ናይ ልኡኻት፡ ኣካያዲትን ውሳኔታት እትነድፍ ሽማግለን ናይ ምምይይጥ ዓውደታትን (ዎርክሾፕ) ዘካየድዎም ኣኼባታት ብዛዕባ "ጾታዊ ማዕርነት" ዝብል ቴማ ኢዮም ዘትዮም። ኣብ'ዚ ኣኼባታት'ዚ ድማ፡ ኣባላት ልኡኽ ሰዲህኤ፡ ብዛዕባ ኵነታት ደቂ ኣንስትዮ ኤርትራን ኤርትራውያን ስደተኛታትን ንምግላጽ ጽቡቕ ዕድል ረኺቦም ኢዮም።
